Showcasing the ethos of one of the world’s top biotechnology firms, Campus Pointe’s headquarters is adorned with more than 2,100 aluminum fins representing the building block of the company’s work: a DNA strand. The two-toned fins — silver with a red strip — were fabricated with consistency to aid in efficiency of build, then installed with slight variations to the angle in order to achieve the patterns found in a DNA string. To create the clean lines desired for this statement entry, seamless 75-foot long oil pipes were brought in by train, then attached to footings cored 45 feet down into bedrock.
